Women of color usually have a difficult time finding the right make-up. I’ve spent countless dollars on trying to find the perfect foundation for my skin. Not only does it give you a natural look it’s actually good for your skin (free of chemicals & has an SPF of 15). You can apply as little or as much as you want to achieve your desired look. My skin cleared up within the first two weeks of usage. I’ve been using it for a little over a year now. I suggest the introductory kit that comes with several brushes, foundation and other goodies for around $60-$65. I also recommend their skin rev-er upper that’s applied prior to foundation. Okay, yes Bare Escentuals is the bomb, but it shouldn’t be used as a band-aid to cover up bad skin. You still need to take care of your face. I really recommend Aveeno Facial Cleansing Bar ($1.99). It’s good & cheap.
You should apply it with a Sluff Puff ($2.99 - an absolute must-have), it feels a little abrasive at first, but you’ll get use to it. It helps exfoliate your skin, and as you should know exfoliation is an important part of any skin care regimen.
